A clinical social worker, author, teacher and ally, Mimi Kravitz DeWoskin has the pulse of adolescents, parents and families. After a career in art education, Mimi received her MSW from Loyola Chicago School of Social Work in 1992. She has also received extensive training in eating disorders and addiction, and has worked for Hazelden Chicago. She has also served as an adjunct professor at Loyola Chicago School of Social Work. Mimi addresses prevention issues such as sexuality, body image and drug education through her private practice and parent network groups. She also provides guidance to school districts and community organizations on topical issues. Through Synartesis, Mimi and David DeWoskin join together to help parents and children examine obstacles to effective communication, trust and support in a safe and playful way. In addition, Mimi received conflict resolution training at The Center for Conflict Resolution, in Chicago, IL.
